Dr. Barrett Straub, Chief Executive Officer
Dr. Barrett Straub is the CEO of Smile Source and a former private practice owner with nearly 20 years of experience in fee-for-service dentistry and oral sedation. A graduate of Marquette Dental School, his advanced training includes Spear, LVI, DOCS, and Seattle Study Club. Barrett joined the ACT Dental leadership team in 2017 and, after selling his practice, he became full-time CEO in April 2023. Now the CEO of Smile Source, he is excited to use his passion to help independent dentists realize a better practice and better life. Barrett lives in Wisconsin with his wife, Katie, and their two daughters.
Dr. Jeff Osborne, Chief Dental Officer
Dr. Jeffrey Osborne, Chief Dental Officer of Smile Source, brings over 36 years of clinical and executive experience to one of the nation’s leading networks of independent dental practices. He owns and operates four practices in the Dallas-Fort Worth area and previously served as Smile Source’s Director of Orthodontics and Dental Sleep Medicine. Dr. Osborne has held leadership roles with Cigna Healthcare, United Concordia, and Solstice Benefits, and played a key role in launching the Texas CHIPS program, expanding access to care for over 500,000 children. A national lecturer on orthodontics, sleep medicine, medical reimbursement, and dental AI, he continues to drive innovation and advocate for private practice success.
